Opening Scene to the Heart Beats Bar:
Ryo's house:
- Look at the kitchen table, for a quick
cut-scene with Iwao-San.
- Go to Iwao-san's room and look in the
drawer of his study table for a key inside a
wooden box
- Search the rest of Ryo's home for other
assorted goodies. Go here for more
information on what you can find.
- Look up at the tree in front of the Family
Dojo for another Iwao-san cut-scene
- Go talk with Fukuhara-san in the Family
Dojo
In Sakuragoaka:
- Leave the house and go to the cat shrine.
- You will have to feed the cat fish food from
the shrine.
- Talk with Yamagishi-san. He is usually
strolling in his front lawn, near the guy
working on his bike. This is also near the
'Tomato Grocery' store in Sakuragoaka.
In Dobuita:
- Head on down to Dobuita
Talk with Harasaki at the flower shop. She
is wearing a white sweater and reddish
skirt.
- Talk with Tom at the Hot Dog stand,
around the middle of town.
He will point you to a travel agency, go
talk to the guy inside.
- Chat with Yamanei-san at Sezume park in
the alley by Game Center You. He is
wearing a checkered shirt.
- QT Battle with two black clothed thugs
around noon (Enoki & Nagashima) near the
'Tomato Grocery' store. This bit was also in
the 'What's Shenmue' demo.
- Talk to the Chef (toad-san) in the Chinese
resturant, opposite to the sporting goods
store.
- Go to the second Chinese resturant, this
one farther into the 'after hours' district,
past the bikers, and talk to the lady inside.
They open at 5:00PM.
- Go to the Yukosuka Bar in the after-hours
district. Wait until they open of course,
and talk to the bartender. Then talk to the
two guys sitting down. You will have to
talk to them until your notepad flashes on
screen.
- Go into the MJQ Jazz and Bar. This is
located close to the Yukosuka Bar
Go up and talk with the pool players. One
of them will challenge you to a one-shot be
in pool. You'll then be able to play. Choose
the left option. But the price is high
(1000yen). This isn't very crucial to the
game to complete, but it's pretty cool
nonetheless.
- Go to the barber shop, past the Hamburger
stand, and close to the Water Dragon
Jeans store. Talk to the couple inside. You
will have to get there before 7:00PM,
before they close. Or you'll need to do the
following steps the next day.
- Go down the steps and into the alley near
the bike shop, in the 'after hours' district.
- QT Battle with two more thugs.
- QT Battle inside Heart Beats bar.
- Go back home...that should be the end of
the first day.
